“kuba” was concieved as a live performance for the Gerauschwelten Festival 2016 at Cuba in Münster, Germany, organised by Till Kniola of Auf Abwegen. For this performance I decided to recycle old recordings and put them in a new context. For me it is interesting to see how sounds that I know well will do in another setting, combined with sounds they didn’t know before. This will be a process that I will investigate further in the future, the aim of which is to research my own work and explore new connections I had not suspected before.
